Stenbrottet near Hällekis

We decided to take a two days fishing trip to Hällekis near to Vänern. Vänern is the biggest lake in Sweden but this time we went to smaller artificial lake called Stenbrottet for catching salmon.

I had very high expectations from this trip but unfortunately after two days of non stop fishing we managed to catch only three salmons.

Göta Kanal at Berg

Quite a busy day at Göta Kanal at the locks from Berg. Many boats coming from the Roxen lake are waiting to pass the locks.

Finally at the end of the day, after I lost all my hope, just when approaching the pier a barracuda attacked the lure and get hooked.
